Have you wondered why and how those red umbrellas seem to appear on the trees in Spanish Banks???

Apparently, four anonymous Vancouverites decided to add a splash of colour to the City they love as a token of celebration and appreciation.    So they suspended a handful of red umbrellas on a patch of bare trees along  Spanish Banks.  Named the "RainBlossom Project" ,  they invited Vancouver’s sister cities of Odessa, Yokohama, Edinburgh, Guangzhou, Los Angeles, and Seoul to spread the red.

The umbrellas were definitely well received and definitely drew a large crowd.  Me included!
